Deadline to file be on the Primary Ballot in March for a County Office is Monday, December 9, 2019.
County Elected Positions on the ballot in March include:
- Sheriff (incumbent David McKnight)
- County Attorney (incumbent Angie Smoak)
- Tax Assessor/Collector (incumbent Karen Jones)
- Commissioner, Pct. #1 (incumbent JR Ashley)
- Commissioner, Pct. #3 (incumbent Glenn Dorough)
- Constable, Pct #1 (incumbent David Capps)
- Constable, Pct #2 (incumbent Tashia Wilson)
- JP, Pct #2 (unexpired term, currently held by appointee Lex Jones)

Filings must be done with either the Democrat Party Chair Rickey Harrington (903-431-8161), or Republican Party Chair Jamey Parsons (254-717-8342). An Appointment of Campaign Treasurer must be filed with the County Clerks’ office. All filings must be completed by by 6 p.m. on December 9, 2019.
