Election packets are now available for individuals seeking election to either the Mayor’s or City Alderman offices.
Offices available for the May 202 City election are:
- Mayor (Incumbent Charles “Bubba” Haggard)
- Alderman Ward 1 (Incumbent David Westbrook)
- Alderman Ward 2 (Incumbent Kay McKinnon)
- Alderman Ward 3 (Incumbent Shawn Humphrey)
No one can file for a place on the ballot prior to January 15 and have 30 days (through February 14) to file.
Packets are available at City Hall (102 N Polk Street), or via the Texas Secretary of State’s Office Election pages website.
