Businessman and SMU Graduate, Rob Baker, filed his intentions for candidacy for Mayor of Jefferson at City Hall on Friday, January 24, 2020.

Rob Baker humbly asks the citizens of Jefferson for the opportunity to serve them in bold and strategic leadership.

With 30 years of experience in corporate finance and turning companies in distress into successful operations, Rob will bring honest, fair and professional representation to the City of Jefferson.

Rob, his wife of 25 years, Pam, and their two children, Charlie (18) and Britt (15), moved to Jefferson in December 2017. They own and are renovating the Culberson House in Historic Downtown Jefferson.

Charlie, a Jefferson High School graduate, is a freshman at LSU. Britt is currently a sophomore at Hallsville High School. Pam works at The Willow Tree. Rob is an Executive Financial Consultant and works remotely from his home.

The Bakers, originally from Dallas, have visited Jefferson for over 30 years with Pam’s mom and step-dad, Barbara and Jerry Cavalier, who also purchased a historic Jefferson home to renovate in 1993.
