Jefferson City Secretary Doris Hines issued the following notice today which closes City Offices to the public, and defers disconnects on water services. The closure and deferment remains in effect through April 3, 2020.

NOTICE

In response to State and Federal recommendations regarding COVID-19, Jefferson City Hall will suspend in-person payments from March 23, 2020 – April 3, 2020. This is to safeguard our customers and employees. All payments may be placed in the drop box or we can receive them by mail. There will not be any cut off of services at this time. But please keep in mind that the bills will still be owed. If further assistance is needed please knock on door and we will gladly assist you. Just please understand employees only will be allowed inside City Hall.

Please call (903)665-3922 for any questions you may have or to report any water or sewer issues. We thank you for your support and cooperation in helping keep our citizens and employees healthy.
