Downtown restaurants resumed “dine-in” service this morning in Jefferson, after making adjustments to seating areas and ensuring staff are following Governor Abbott’s Open Texas document requirements.

Taste of Caddo

“Our ‘Coffee Club’ was waiting for us at 6 this morning,” said Taste of Caddo owner Becky Arnold.

Taste of Caddo has limited their seating to 20 people, including staff, and placed “X’s” on tables and seating locations where patrons are not allowed to sit to ensure social distancing suggestions are met. They are back to operating on their normal schedule starting today.

Taste of Caddo is located at the corner of Austin and Vale Streets.

Auntie Skinner’s

Auntie Skinner’s has re-arranges their seating to help patrons easily see where they can sit and to ensure their limit of 50 people is maintained.

“We’ve gotten reservations for today and tomorrow at 11:30 already,” said owner Michelle Fox-Davis.

Skinner’s is currently taking reservations to help diners get in and out easily but are also still open for walk-up, and curbside ordering. They will be operating under limited ours for now – Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11-8, and Sunday Noon to 8.

Kahn Hotel Coffee Shop

The Kahn Hotel Coffee Shop, located at the corner of Austin and Vale Streets is also open and ready to resume operations.

They are limiting the number of patrons in the store at one time.
