Marion COunty Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 9a.m. Monday to approve the last project on the Courthouse restoration.

The project hit a snag approximately three weeks ago when it was discovered a sewer line had been incorrectly connected and was not tied in to the main lines. It was an oversight in the plans by the contractor.

The repair will cost the project approximately an additional $20,000, but the fee will be paid for by the contractors and not the county.

On Monday commissioners will approve the bid provided by Lawler Construction which also did the City’s water and sewer replacement project.

Commissioners will also approving an Interlocal Agreement with JISD for expenditure reimbursements from Coronavirus Relief Funds.

The Herad/Jimplecute will be live for this meeting.
