The Jefferson Jimplecute and Marion County Herald website now has new features and added benefits for subscribers.
The newly implemented “PayWall” allows subscribers to login and read stories as they happen instead of waiting for their e-Edition or physical paper delivery each week.
“This new feature will allow you to read every story printed in the Jimplecute on the website when it’s ready, instead of having to wait for your copy to arrive,” said co-publisher Hugh Lewis. “The online access is included in your regular subscription, so there’s no additional charges either.”
Subscribers can use their email addresses on file with the paper to access the site. Subscribers who need to register their email can call the office at 903-665-2462 or email the paper at JeffersonJimplecute@gmail.com and an account will be setup for you.
The first time to login, users need to select “Login” from the menu, and then “Lost Password”.
This will allow you to fill in their email address and select “Get New Password.” You will receive an email message with instructions on how to reset your password.
“We’ll be adding content regularly,” said Lewis, “and along with it will come more news and photographs, advertising opportunities, and an enhanced user experience. Already subscribers can receive a daily summary of articles published online via our newsletter, and this is just another way to help get information out to our community.”
