Marion County Commissioners took care of a couple of items of routine business during Monday’s regular scheduled meeting.
New Commissioners Ralph Meisenheimer (Pct 3), and Jacob Pattison (Pct. 2), turned in their certificates of completion of training in the Public Information Act and the Open Meetings Act. Elected or appointed officials have 90 days from taking office to complete the training.
Commissioners also approved the purchase of a haul trailer for Precinct 2.
Allowing the use of the Kellyville Community Center for rental to the general public was tabled until Commissioners can determine the cost of the cleaning chemicals for COVID-19 sanitation. After each use the building must be sanitized per CDC guidelines.
Finally, Commissioners approved the payment of all accounts and reports relating to county finances in their consent agenda.
