This weekend Jefferson Lady Bulldog Track participated at Regionals in Whitehouse, Texas.
Tierrani Johnson placed 2nd in Discus at Regionals with a throw of 116FT, 3IN.
She is advancing to the STATE TRACK MEET in Austin on May 6th-8th.
Tierrani also participated in shot put at regionals and threw 35ft 8.5 inches to place 5th.
A congratulations also goes out to Dymond Mitchell, Ja’Niyah Ventimiglia, Kei’Ana Mayberry, and Rachae’ Williams for qualifying for regionals in the 4x100M relay and 4x200M relay. These girls ran 1:51:74 in the 4X200M relay to qualify for finals and placed 7th in finals with a time of 1:50:36.
Please let these ladies know how proud you are of them when you see them passing by or around in town. They have worked very hard for what they’ve accomplished!
