Cherished son, beloved brother, grandson, uncle and friend of many, Chase Alexander Sandlin, age 15, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Karnack, Texas. He was born on October 10, 2005 in Marshall, Texas to Tony Wayne Sandlin and Venita Elizabeth Griffin.
Chase is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sonny Rogers; his grandfather, Richard Griffin; his great-grandmothers, Juanita Combs and Venita Stephens; his uncle, John Abbott and his niece, Nova Shores. He is survived by his parents, Tony and Amie Sandlin and Venita Griffin; his sisters, Jordan Sandlin and Cheyenne Sandlin; his nieces and nephews, Carson Sandlin, Serene Shelton and Kaisyn Williams; his grandparents, Peggy Abbott, Jay Abbott and Toni Griffin; his great-grandparents, Charles and Linda Abbott; his aunts and uncles, David Griffin, Aquisha Griffin and Ruby Wood and his cousins, Destini Griffin, Kyshunna Warren and Nikole Kathii.
Chase was quite the outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt and was very much a country boy. He attended schools in Karnack and had just completed the 9th grade in Jefferson. He will be remembered for his good heart, his manners and his love for his family and friends. Chase was the best son a parent could ask for. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial service for Chase will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home with Bro. James Runnels officiating. A time of visitation will be held immediately following the service at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
