Funeral services for Karen A. Clampitt Vandenburg, 59, of Beckville, Texas were help 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Hawthorn Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dale Walker officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home.
Karen Ann Clampitt Vandenburg was born July 9, 1962 in a military base in Bainbridge, Maryland. She passed this life September 15, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. Karen was one of two children born to the marriage of Donald Wayne and Elizabeth Ann McGraw Clampitt. She began schools in Norfolk, Virginia and completed her high school education in Athens, Texas. Karen attended of Tyler Junior College and spent her career in the MHMR field. She is preceded in death by her father.
Mrs. Vandenburg is survived by her mother, Ann Clampitt of Jefferson; son, Aiden Elliott of Beckville; daughter, Ashley Allen of Jefferson; sister, Teresa Rodieck of Jefferson; granddaughter, Bella Lindsay; nephew, Jonathan Rodieck and Jackie of Mineola; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
