Council to meet Monday in Special Session

City of Jefferson

The Jefferson City Council will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. Monday at the Transportation Center to discuss a personnel matter “regarding the City Administrator and the Director of Public Works.”

Unless either the City Administrator, Eric Kuykendall, or the Director of Public Works, Allen Whatley, requests it, the meeting will be in Executive Session, and not open to the public.

The way the agenda is written, Council will not be able to take any action in the public portion of the meeting.

The Jimplecute/Herald will be present in case there is any public discussion, but is not planning to live stream. Commissioners Court is also meeting at this same time, so the Jimplecute/Herald will not be at that meeting.
