This week is a busy week in Jefferson for the Chamber.  We just finished the Wedding Expo this past weekend. Here are a series of events for this month.

SHAMROCKS & SHENANIGANS  This Saturday, March 19th, is our annual St. Patrick’s Shamrocks & Shenanigans Shopping Treasure Hunt amongst participating merchants.  Participating stores place hidden shamrocks about their shop and once a customer finds a shamrock, they get to draw from a bag of coupons giving discounts about town for the event.  Ambassadors will be out and about to assist tourists with directions and answering questions from tourists.

CITY WIDE SPRING RUMMAGE SALE There is plenty time for locals to gather their goods for the upcoming Rummage Sale which is set for March 31st, April 1st, and 2nd.  The registration fee is $20 for those who want to be on the map that is provided to shoppers.  For those who do not have a location in town to display their goods, Heritage Baptist Church on Highway 59, near Trico, is providing their parking lot for folks to come and set up.  To reserve a space at Heritage, please call their office at 903-665-8865.

For more information, contact the Chamber at 903-665-2672, visit their website at MarionCountyChamber.org, or email them at info@MaironCountyChamber.org
