Marion County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. today for their regular mid-month meeting.
Commissioners will consider adding additional funding to the JP1 budget in the areas of extra labor and benefits beginning in Oct. 17, 2022 so a replacement clerk can be hired for training purposes.
They will also consider approving bonds for Harleigh Fulgium as Deputy District Clerk, and settling all accounts and directing their payments.
Following the meeting Commissioners will hold their first Budget Workshop in preparation for the 2023 Fiscal year.
