The Jefferson Adopt-A-Cop organization recently (and happily) reimbursed some of city and county Law Enforcement Officers for equipment that is required, but not paid for by their departments.
Our organization was formed to assist our city and county Law Enforcement Officers with their out-of-pocket required expenses.
These expenses can create quite a hardship on the officers and their families, adding up to over $1300.00 per person.
Some required items are a one-time purchase (weapon). Some items are recurring and costly expenses, like ammunition and boots.
JAAC is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to assist our Jefferson and Marion County Law Enforcement Officers with their out-of-pocket required expenses. We welcome your contributions and support.
