Hometown

Heroes

There is a Hometown Hero event that is in the works!

Remember the 1969-1970 Central High School football team that won the State Championship for Jefferson, Texas? We certainly remember them – they have not been forgotten.

Will Thomas (Alderman for Ward 2) has been spearheading this upcoming event with the assistance of the Jefferson High School coaches and the JISD Superintendent.

We will be honoring the 1969-1970 football players during the October 21st home game.  This is long overdue!

This is where we need your help.  We need to get in contact with all the football players and coaches that were a part of that team and let them know they are being remembered and honored at the October 21st home game. We need to give all of them time to make plans to be in attendance at this event.
