Going the Extra Mile

At last Friday night’s game, the Jefferson Athletic Department led by Athletic Director Antwain Jimmerson recognized kinesiology teacher LaTrisha McCurry, for GOING THE EXTRA YARD. Extra Yard for Teachers is sponsored by the College Football Playoff Foundation. This year Jefferson ISD implemented a Kinesiology (Sports Education) class. The students are able to link up with the Athletic Department as much as possible. The students also work with the Athletic Trainer during the football season on the sidelines to count for clinical hours
