Jefferson Lady Bulldog Jaida Bray goes for a jump shot against Paul Pewitt Tuesday at home. The Lady Dawgs topped the Brahmas 44-25 and Bray finished the night with three points and eight rebounds. Kristen Thomas led Jefferson in scoring with 18 points on the night.

Both varsity and JV Lady Bulldog basketball teams pulled decisive wins against Paul Pewitt Monday night at home in Jefferson..

The varsity squad defeated topped the Brahmas 44-25.

Kristen Thomas led the attack for Jefferson with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Taurria Hood scored 10 points and had seven rebounds.

Jordyn Davidson scored six points along with five rebounds and six assists.

Also scoring for the Lady Dawgs were:

Keyasia Black- 3 points 

Jaida Bray- 3 points and 8 rebounds. 

Rielyn Schubert- 3 points and 5 rebounds. 

Keinysa Wallace- 1 point and 3 rebounds.

Varsity returned to action on Thursday at the McLeod Tournament. 

They will compete through Saturday. Results were not available as of press time.

The JV squad defeated Pewitt 46–9.

Eden Hopes led the Bulldog attack with had tec points.

Jazlyn Jordan and Ava Phillips each had eight points.

Maniyah Huffman and Alicia Carter each had six points.

Faith Franklin had four points.

Mia Mosley and Alaysia Durden each scored two points.

The JV returns to action Tuesday at Beckville.
