The  Jefferson Community Law Enforcement Partnership is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10.

This year all booths will be inside and air conditioned.

The Marion County Resource Coalition has partnered on the event with UT Tyler School of Medicine, Texas Health and Human Services, Community Healthcore, Texas A&M AgriLife among others.

JPD and MCSO will have booths and the Christus ambulance will be there.

The UT mobile mammogram unit and mobile wellness unit will be on hand to provide mammograms and health screenings.

JAAC will provide the “walking tacos” lunch again this year, at noon, while it lasts, so please consider donating the bags of Doritos, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, picante sauce, ground meat, taco seasoning packets, grated cheese, cookie packets, fork, napkins, plates or water.

This event is geared to introduce the community to resources.

Organizers are asking chidrens’ game/giveaway items.

Attendees will register, then visit each booth for information and goodies. To be eligible for the gift card drawings, the registrants will visit each booth and get a stamp on their registration card.

When they have visited all the booths and their card is full, they will drop it in the box/jar at the registration table. Completed cards will be drawn for the gift cards.
