Jefferson and Marion County residents gather to review the various healthcare related resources available to them during Saturday’s Health Fair sponsored by the Marion County Resources Coalition and Jefferson Adopt-A-Cop. The free event drew over 30 “vendors” providing resources available to residents. At right, a member of TxDOT prepares car seats for distribution during the event. TxDOT will provide or replace a car seat for anyone in need. Future events are planned in the spring and fall for the Mims and Smithland portions of the County.
