The Jefferson Carnegie Library’s annual Friends of the Library membership drive will kick off with a Pot Luck Dinner on Saturday, September 9th at 6pm.  We will be closing out 2023 and moving forward into 2024.  Enjoy hearing what has happened this year at the library and what is in store for upcoming months. Bring your favorite dish to share!!!!!

If you are already a “Friend” of the Library, thank you for your financial support and active participation in the events that are scheduled throug1hout the year.  If you have not committed, please consider becoming a supporter.  There are several levels of support to choose from. Pick the one that best suits you.  In the month of September, you will be receiving a letter and a membership level form to complete and return in a self-addressed stamped envelope.

The library is excited to announce that David Puckett, former Priest of Jefferson’s Christ Episcopal Church, will be at the library on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, to talk about his book, Eye on the Sparrow. This free event open to the public will begin at 5:30pm. Get the word out to your friends and neighbors to join us in welcoming David and Elizabeth back to Jefferson for this event.
