Graveside Services for Mary “Patsy” Dreesen 73, of Jefferson, Texas will be held Friday, September 29 at 11am at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cass County with Rev. Sue Sullivan officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. An interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Patsy was born on December 12, 1949, in Jefferson, Texas to Dennis “Dink” Youngblood and Bonnie Lummus Youngblood and passed away on September 26, 2023, in Gladewater, Texas.

Jerry and Patsy were married on November 24, 1966, at Moore’s Chapel.

Patsy is known for her very loving personality. She will be remembered for her love for her family and serving Marion County as Justice of Peace for several years. She also served in Eastern Star for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charlie Youngblood; sister, Denise McAlexander; son, Richard Youngblood; grandson, Andrew Dreesen.

Patsy is survived by her beloved husband Jerome “Jerry” Dreesen; children, Jeremy Dale Dreesen and wife Terri, Judith Diane Fortune and husband Mitch; siblings, Joe Youngblood and wife Sharon, Susan Dye and husband Brandon; grandchildren, James Earl Dreesen and fiancé Mikela Smith, William Patrick Dreesen, Chuck Dreesen, Mary Beth Fortune; great grandchildren, Amber Dreesen, Janice Boldrey, Trevor Dreesen; step grandsons, Aaron Wiley and Austin Wiley.

Pallbearers will include Rick Lane, Jason Bonner, James Dreesen, Patrick Dreesen, Brandon Barton, Hunter Nelson, and Austin Youngblood.
