There are three different versions of the train now riding the rails. One primarily stays in Canada and the northner United States.
The second has musical performances, is larger, and requires a donation of a canned or dry good for entrance. It makes a donation to local food banks before departure. It will be in Shreveport and Texarkana this year.
The third, is the Holiday Express Train and it travels from Mississippi to Texas. It is free to tour. This is the train which has regularly visited Jefferson over the last 10 years or so.
