“Our county is a strong Republican county,” Bonner declared. “Our residents believe in low taxes, limited government, and personal freedom to make decisions about our own lives. The office of County Chair is responsible for getting Republicans elected to local, state, and national offices to keep our county RED.”

Bonner brings a wealth of experience in campaign strategy and government relations. He has cultivated working relationships with elected officials at all levels, from state and federal representatives to local government leaders. These connections are crucial to achieving goals for the county, state, and nation.

Furthermore, Bonner has a proven track record of dedication to the Republican Party. He served as Presiding Election Judge for Marion County since 2020, was a delegate to the 2020 State Convention, and is currently the President of the Marion County Republican Assembly.

“One of the major projects that I am proud of is addressing the poor water quality in the Crestwood area of Marion County,” Bonner stated. “Through my leadership, we were able to secure funding and resources to improve the water quality for residents.”

Bonner also played a key role in passing SB22, a law that provides additional funding for the County Sheriff’s office to purchase equipment, provide pay raises, and retain quality law enforcement personnel.

As Marion County Republican Chair, Bonner plans to:

• Work to increase the number Republicans elected to local office.

• Continue to strengthen working relationships with local, state, and federal elected officials.

• Raise the visibility of the Marion County GOP.

• Increase Republican voter registration operations.

• Expand voter education initiatives.

• Increase volunteer opportunities to allow Marion County residents to continue to be involved with the Republican Party.

• Ensure increased transparency between Republican voters and Marion County GOP.

“I am passionate about serving our community and believe that the Republican Party is the best way to ensure a bright future for Marion County,” said Bonner. “I humbly request your support as I seek the office of Marion County Republican Chair.”
