It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I announce my candidacy for Marion County Republican Chairperson.

My husband Steve and I are so proud to call Marion County home. We have a historic home in Jefferson which we have opened up to participate in the Candlelight Tours of Homes and Pilgrimage. And we also have a home at Lake O’ the Pines where we love to host our grandchildren. Over the years I have been blessed to be welcomed into so many wonderful groups and organizations here. The Jesse Allen Wise Garden Club is so dear to my heart and it has been an honor to work with such a remarkable group of women. I am a staunch supporter of the Friends of Jefferson Animals organization. They are truly angels on earth and go above and beyond to help the strays and discards in our community.

This community is my home and my heart. I genuinely want to provide leadership to our county republicans that represent and respects everyone.

I am very passionate about growing our party and working to engage more members of the community. These are people I talk to and visit with every day and they have wonderful ideas and would be a great asset to our county party. Beyond growing our party, I also want to encourage more community involvement and outreach. In order for us to be adequately representing our constituents, it’s essential that we know what their concerns are on the issues at hand. We need someone who will not only listen, but be inclusive so we all have a voice and that is what I will bring to the table.

It has been humbling to receive so much local support then to have Matt Rinaldi, the state chairman for the Republican Party of Texas endorse me was a wonderful surprise. But to have our amazing Attorney General Ken Paxton endorse me also, was just beyond words. I am so honored to have the opportunity to run to represent Marion County and I can assure you that a vote for me, is really a vote for WE. Together we are going to make Marion County Republican Party the best it’s ever been.
