Edith “Edi” Mae Buzbee Ingram born May 10, 1940 in Pampa, TX to C.A. & Florence Buzbee. She passed peacefully January 18, 2024 surrounded by her husband of almost 66 years, Johnny, sister Cheryl and niece Tathona.

She moved to Odessa, TX when she was in the 7h grade and graduated from Odessa High School in

1958. The next week she married the love of her life Johnny Ingram on June 6, 1958 at her parents home in Odessa, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents C.A. & Florence Buzbee, C.H & Dolores Ingram, her son Johnny Lance Ingram, her sister and brother Gayle and Bill Savio, and her granddaughter Ashley Taylor Ingram.

She and Johnny “retired” to Jefferson, TX in August 1980.

Edi enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, meeting people and traveling the United States back roads with Johnny.

She never met a stranger.

Edi is survived by her husband, Johnny Ingram of Jefferson, TX. Daughter and her husband, Leah & Michael Soutter of Dallas, TX. Sisters Cheryl Wimberly of Jefferson, TX. Shirley and her husband Jimmy Alvarez of Austin, TX. Niece Tathona Savio and Michael Kizzar of Jefferson, TX.

Grandchildren Richard Nicholson of Dallas, TX. Amanda Valdez of West Des Moines, Iowa, Ruben Bryan Castillo of Troy, NY. Great grandchildren- Kailey, McKenzie and Preston Nicholson of Savannah, TX, Jordyn and Ariya Valdez of West Des Moines, Iowa. Austin Ingram of Garland, TX.

And countless friends.

She collected anything with the word JOY on it.
