JISD: Tax rate lowered to $0.772

JISD is lowering property taxes this year as the School Board approved a combined tax rate of $0.772 for the 24-25 school year budget last week.

They also approved the proposed budget with a deficit of $860,430 in the general fund, which is lower than the estimated deficit from the previous meeting.
