Join us on a guided hike through the diverse habitats of Caddo Lake State Park!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Pine Ridge Trailhead. Restroom is available at HQ. Drinking water is available at HQ and nearby water spigot. Trail consists of moderate terrain including: trip hazards, steep elevation changes, multiple steps, poison ivy, loose rock and dirt, snakes, and other natural hazards.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of an approximately 1.4-mile moderate hike to start the New Year off right!
When: 9 – 11 a.m., January 1, 2025
Where: Pine Ridge Loop Trailhead
What to bring:
- Water
- Sunscreen/Bug Spray
- Hat/Sunglasses
- Closed-toed shoes
Recommended wear:
- Hiking shoes/boots with ankle support
- Crew or longer socks
- Pants that protect skin from biting insects
Program is included in park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
