- EXECUTIVE SESSION
The public portion of the Jefferson City Council meeting is now in recess to call the meeting to order in executive session in accordance with Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (Attorney Consultation), 551.072 (Real Property), and 551.074 (Personnel Matters) to deliberate upon and seek legal advice regarding the following subjects:
- the application of the Texas Public Information Act to requests made to the City
- the sale, purchase, exchange, or value of city property located at the intersection of Austin and Washington streets and at the intersection of Austin and Polk streets;
- duties of the City Attorney
- duties of the Police Chief
- POST-EXECUTIVE SESSION ACTION ITEMS
Consideration and possible action on any of the items identified above for deliberation in executive session, if recalled for action by any Council member:
a. Consider action on a policy for the waiver of charges on public information act requests, including the Jefferson Jimplecute requests on June 16, 2026.
