A new page makes it’s debut in the Jimplecute this week and re-starts one of the most requested feature series from past years.
This week the Entertainment page returns and is focused on things to see and do, and places to dine in and around Jefferson.
“The Jimplecute ran a food column by Sherry McAdoo for years and when she passed away in 2017, the column just stopped,” said Jimplecute co-publisherHugh Lewis. “I regularly get requests for a food column or to re-run Sherry’s. But I wanted something that would fit and with Chef Hunter Lee moving here and filming his tv spot here, it just seemed like a good fit and a good time to bring it back.”
The page, which is sponsored by local restaurants and entertainment venues, will also contain a listing of music events going on each weekend provided by music photographer Micah White. The page anchor will also allow sponsors to list their weekly dining specials or highlight something their doing.
“I want it to be a resource for readers to visit and think ‘What are we going to do this weekend?’ or ‘What restaurants are having specials this week?’ and be able to pick up a Jimplecute and find out,” said Lewis.
