The Jefferson High School Lady Dawg track team took second at the district meet last wee.
As a team, they finished in a 2nd Place tie with West Rusk behind Tatum:

Jefferson, 110 points.
West Rusk, 110 points.
The following young ladies will advanced to the area track meet at White Oak on Wednesday, April 19, in the following events:
100 Meter Dash – Rachae Williams – 2nd Place
400 Meter Dash – Jordyn Davidson – 1st Place
100 M Hurdles – Elizabeth Najera – 4th Place
300 M Hurdles – Elizabeth Najera – 3rd Place
4×100 M Relay – Alyssa Williams, Keyasia Black, Ja’Niyah Ventimiglia, Rachae Williams – 3rd Place
4×400 M Relay – Jordyn Davidson, Brooklyn Clark, Aysha Tucker, Elizabeth Najera – 4th Place
Shot Put – Adrianna Blanton – 1st Place
Discus – Tawny Foster – 1st Place; Adrianna Blanton – 2nd Place
High Jump – Kourtlyn Dowell – 4th Place
