V Hugh Lewis II/Jefferson Jimplecute
This week’s Jimplecute is smaller than normal. We usually drop two pages during the summer months as, well, it’s quieter. There’s limited sports and school events, so we take the time to regroup and recharge for the fall.
This week, well, it affected us all. Power was restored at our offices late Sunday evening. But most of the County remained without it through press time on Wednesday.
That means our access to gather material is limited as we focused on our families and helping our neighbors.
We’ve dedicated this issue to documenting the storm, and the efforts of City and County officials, residents, volunteers and those who came to Marion County to help out.
