Caddo Lake: The schooling activity for Largemouth Bass has been picking up the last couple of weeks. If you are fishing the Big Cypress Bayou you want to pay close attention to the intersections of the boat roads that are crossing or turning off of the bayou. These areas will have schools of shad around them and the bass will be close by. My baits of choice have been topwaters, crankbaits, Texas rigs and using the drop shot. My bottom bouncing baits have been the finesse worms in a Junebug or green pumpkin color.
