These days it seems like our City Council is a mirror of what’s going on in national politics: Pre-K tantrums to get what one wants.
This last month has been filled with budget workshops which have been an embarrassment — for everyone.
The petty insults. The flat out “No” without discussion. The accusations. The refusal to listen to what’s said by the public or department heads about their budgets or desires.
Jefferson deserves better.
So, stop the Pre-K temper tantrums. At least LOOK like you care what people have to say. STOP minding the clock. And STOP being rude — to everyone.
The World may not be watching, but those that live here are, and we deserve and demand better of our officials.
