Members of the JHS Class of 1991 showed their appreciation for past and present teachers last weekend by starting what they hope is an Annual Teacher Alumni Brunch.
The the heme was “Honoring Our Educational Roots by Celebrating the Legacy of Our Educators.”
Various honorees included:
- • Coach Dorothy Bonner
- • Recognizing the State Track Team
- • Coach Jerry Bennett and other coaches
- • Remembrances of teachers who have passed on
- • Honoring educators present
The Alumni Choir presented several musical selections, see photo at right.
Stephanie Randle Walton, who served as Mistress of Ceremony, ushered the event along and said plans were already in the works for next year’s event.
