City of Jefferson residents in Wards 1 and 3 made their choice for the next aldermen on Saturday, with incumbent Charles “Bubba” Haggard holding on to his seat 100-80 against Hattie Hackler, and Doug Thompson defeating incumbent Robin Moore 35-22.
Council will meet on May 13 to canvass the results.
