The 43rd Candlelight Tour of Homes kicks off this weekend as locals spent Thanksgiving weekend putting the finishing touches on homes, lights and businesses.
Four homes are on tour the next two weekends, along with various special events, to put everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Sponsored by the Historic Jefferson Foudnation, this year’s homes include the Ayer’s House, the Culberson House, The Homestead, and the Ruth Lester Memorial and Jefferson Playhouse.
Tours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday and tickets can be obtained at Port Jefferson Outpost for $30 per person. Children under 12 are free.
Other weekend activities include a tour of Kennedy Manor benefitting Friends of Jefferson Animals, and next weekend’s Atalanta North Pole Express, complete with Hot Chocolate Bar and a mail room where children can write Letters to Santa..
