From Jefferson JPD
On March 6, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Jefferson Police Department was dispatched to the 600 block of West Broadway regarding a four-wheeler wreck.
Upon arrival, patient care and life saving measures were administered to the operator of the ATV.
“After thorough attempts to revive the operator he was declared deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Pct.1 Judge Lena Pope,” cited a statement from the Jefferson PD.
The deceased has been identified as 48 year old, Cederick Kelly of Jefferson.
The JPD is currently working the ]crash Investigation along with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Assisting the Police Department during the initial call was the Marion County Sheriffs Office, Texas DPS, Texas Parks and Wildlife and CHRISTUS EMS.
