Mission Marshall Now In Woodlawn

Starting on May 13, Mission Marshall is offering remote food pantry services in the Woodlawn area. “The pandemic has amplified transportation challenges within our community. It is our hope that by providing food pantry distributions at offsite locations we can help our community members overcome transportation difficulties and reduce any anxiety that comes along with ride sharing since Covid-19,” says Misty Scott Executive Director at Mission Marshall.

The Woodlawn Remote Pantry will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 2:30pm-4pm. To minimize traffic congestion, Mission Marshall is asking guests to not show up before 2:30pm. The distribution will be conducted as a drive thru and minimal paperwork is required. The distribution is open to anyone in need regardless of their county of residency.

Mission Marshall is seeking volunteers to assist in preparing food boxes for the Woodlawn Remote Pantry. If you would like to volunteer or have questions about the distribution, please call 903-472-4944 ext. 5 or email info@missionmarshall.org.
