The annual JSA celebrations in downtown kick off tonight at 5:45p as line up for the Children’s Parade begin.
The evenings activities commence at 6p at Otstott Park. Activities for the evening include:
- Pie & Cake Auction for Jefferson Carnegie Library
- Performances by the Shreveport metropolitan band
- Running of the Quacker State 500
The evening caps off with the Fireworks Fantasmagora at 9:15p over the Big Cypress Bayou.
The event is out on each year by donations from the community, city, and the Jefferson Salutes America organization.
