Lady Dawgs named to All-District team
Several Jefferson Lady Bulldog Volleyball players received All District Honors earlier this fall.
Among them were:
First Team All-District— sophomore Keyasia Black.
Second Team All-District— junior Brooklyn Shelton.
Honorable Mention All-District— junior Rachae Williams and sophomore Kristen Thomas.
Academic All-District honors went to seniorsTakayla Trammer and Teja Taylor; juniors
Falicia Craver, Tawny Foster, Brooklyn Shelton and Rachae Williams; and sophomores Keyasia Black, Adrianna Blanton, Kristen Thomas and Janiyah Ventimigilia.
8th grade ladies top Arp
The Jefferson Junior High 8th grade Jefferson Lady Bullpups defeated the Arp Lady Tigers 50-22 Monday night on the road.
Destiny Kelly led the Jefferson attack with 20 points.
Kynedi Irving and Keynasia Wallace each scored seven points.
Brynlie Braddock chipped in six points.
Alyssa Williams, Ava Phillips and Lindsey Gonzales each scored four points.
