The Jefferson Bulldog basketball team is 8-5 on the season after going 1-2 over the past week.
Most recently, the Bulldogs dropped a narrow 44-43 non-district final to Timpson on road Tuesday.
Individual results were not available as of press time.
The loss to on Tuesday came on the heels of another non-district loss the day before— when the Bulldogs fell 78-60 to Hooks.
Dylan Washington the led attack against the Hornets with 13 points.
Jakardian Davidson and Kenneth Ross were both close behind with 12 points a piece.
Chris Bowman scored 11 points.
Parker Grubbs and Trenton Miles each offered four points.
The lone Bulldog win over the past week came on Dec. 17 at Sabine with a 63-57 overtime toppling of Sabine on the road in district action.
Davidson scored 25 points against the Cardinals.
Ross offered 15 points, Grubbs scored nine points and Washington chipped in eight.
After a week off for Christmas, the Bulldogs will return to district action on Dec. 31 at Waskom.
