Fishing Report
Caddo Lake: The bass have been on their fall feeding patterns. When you are out on Caddo in areas that have a minimum amount of Giant Salvinia, you can throw the small and mid-size whopper plopper and do well early in the morning or late evening. In the areas with an abundant amount of the invasive plant, try throwing a soft plastic buzzing frog, like the “Tour Toad” from Big Bite Baits. I am still down-sizing my vibrating jigs and spinnerbaits and catching a lot of fish. One of the keys is finding the shad and staying in about a foot to two foot of water. This is a fun time to go fishing on Caddo and catch those fish chasing shad.
