DA Announces Court Activity Week of March 4-6

A bench trial was held in front of Judge Dean Fowler on March 4, 2020 in which LaCharles Keith Neal pled guilty and asked the Court to assess punishment on the charge of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, a third degree felony which was enhanced to second degree felony punishment with a prior conviction. After hearing the evidence including the defendant’s prior criminal history, the Judge sentenced Neal to the maximum sentence of 20 years in the Texas Department of Corrections. Jim Finstrom represented the Defendant.

On March 6, 2020, with Judge Robert Rolston presiding, Michelle Lynsey Woodward pled guilty to Harassment of a Public Servant and was placed on 5 years deferred probation. She also pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance and was placed on deferred probation for 3 years.

Also on March 6, 2020, Dominic Desmond Miller pled guilty to Evading Arrest with prior conviction and was placed on 3 years deferred probation. He also pled guilty to Assault Family Violence and was assessed county jail time on that charge by Judge Leward LeFleur.

Each probation granted included specific conditions of probation as well as standard conditions of probation.
