TOMORROW: OHTP to hold second round of auditions for Christmas show

Jefferson’s Opera House Theatre Players are holding one more audition to complete casting for the upcoming presentation of a “live” radio show of the holiday classic “It’s A Wonderful

Life.” 

Auditions will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at Parish Hall of the Episcopal church located on Main Street near the Lions Park.

The play was first presented in 1946 in a radio studio and the script ha bee adapted so that only five or six actors play multipleroles.

According to OHTP director Marcia Thomas, the cast so far are players regulars Joe Todaro and Lisa Daye, Jane Maddox of Austin and Thomas— who will take a small role.  

She said the cast still needs at least two men.

Thomas said would also like to add two young children to the cast.

Ideal ages would be 8-12 years old.
