There are nearly 3 million amateur radio operators in the world. These operators not only talk to each other but they also serve the community by relaying storm reports to the National Weather Service, and providing back up communication when there are no other resources available.
The Signal 51 ARC and Northeast Texas Amateur Radio Group is sponsoring Introduction to Ham Radio. This presentation will introduce you to the different aspects of the hobby.
The presentation will be April 6, 2020, 6:30 pm at the Atlanta, Texas Public Library located at 101 West Hiram in Atlanta, Texas. The presentation is free and open to the public.
