Throughout his years in school, he has been a part of baseball, band, National Honor Society, golf, and the fishing team.

After high school, James plans to attend Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He will major in accounting and minor in business. Once graduating, he plans to find a job as a forensic accountant.

Outside of high school, James has many different hobbies he enjoys. Some of these include fishing, playing video games, and spending time with his friends and family. He has made many great memories with his friends over the years that he will cherish forever.

James has worked at the Outpost part-time during the past school year and enjoys working there with all of his great co-workers. He has also done many different things to help the community. He and the rest of the National Honor Society helped to set up and work at the Marion County Fair this past year along with helping at the Jefferson Elementary School field day. This past Christmas, he helped set up the Christmas trees at Lions Club Park. Before school had been let out and eventually canceled for the rest of the school year, James went with the Spanish 3 class to teach the second grade students Spanish.

James would like to thank all of his past teachers and coaches for the impact they had on his life from his kindergarten teacher Ms. Perkins, Ms. Parker in elementary school and junior high, to Coach Barry in high school. He would also like to thank his family and friends for always believing in him and supporting him in every way possible. Lastly, James would like to give a special thanks to his mom, granny (Nelda Breckenridge), and sister. They have been his biggest supporters and pushed him to become the person he is today.
