The Jefferson Tourism Board has been working with the Anderson Group, the last six months or so, to have a marketing plan produced for the City.
The Group has visited the City several times and their work is now coming to fruition: a new Marketing Plan has been produced and is ready to unveil. The Board budgeting using $10,000 of HOT (Hotel Occupancy Tax) funds to fund the project.
As such, the Tourism Board will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. Monday at the Visitors Center to hear what Anderson has come up with.
The meeting, per the posted agenda, is being conducted both in person and via a Google Hangout and will be live videoed. Details have not been provided in the agenda, and the Herald has requested access to the meeting.
The Visitors Center has been closed to the public since the City Emergency Declaration.
The Herald plans to live stream the meeting on Monday on it’s YouTube channel and FaceBook page.
