  • Lorriane Bice is making Apple, Blueberry, Peach, Apricot, Cherry, Strawberry Cheesecake, Pecan, Buttermilk, and Coconut individual pies for pickup at Texas 49 Crossing Liquor. She’s still taking orders…
  • Courtney McCurry Sr. is tackling a new field to get ready for mid season crops and are still planning to be in Jefferson soon. Currently they’ve been over in Longview (on Alpine) selling fruits and vegetables.
  • Cumberland Presbyterian Church announced they have resumed worshiping together. Services are a bit shorter, and have spread people out around the sanctuary. “No touching yet, and no singing, out of love for each other. Most of us wear masks while walking around, before and after worship.”

  • Caddo Lake State Park says they “want YOU to be like raccoon! Remember, face coverings are strongly recommended while visiting Texas State Parks. And it’s always a good idea to regularly wash your hands, because you know- germs. One caveat: Please don’t throw trash around. Even raccoons, as great as they are, have their faults.”
