Thursday morning at 9 a.m. the Marion County Commissioners Court will hold a special meeting, going immediately into Executive Session, to discuss and then appoint a Sheriff to fill retiring Sheriff David McKnight’s unexpired term.
McKnight announced his retirement at the end of the May 11, 2020, Commissioners Court meeting. Commissioners are scheduled to accept the resignation at Tuesday, May 26th, meeting.
There are no other items on the agenda for this meeting.
